Fleur de Lilac

Bitter orange and lemon burst forward with aggressive brightness, immediately sharpened by ginger's hot-pepper edge. The bergamot arrives as a secondary wave, cutting through with its signature herbal-citrus complexity whilst the overall effect feels more invigorating than sweet—almost as though you've rubbed the rind of three different citrus fruits directly onto your skin.

The spice transforms subtly as coriander warms the composition into something vaguely tea-like and savoury, with rhubarb introducing an unexpected green tartness that's both bright and slightly mineral. Labdanum begins its slow creep upwards, adding a honeyed undertone that prevents the fragrance from becoming austere, though it never quite softens into comfort.

The woody base emerges with clear prominence—cedarwood and sandalwood create a cool, dry-skinned finish whilst white musk adds a quiet, neutral-toned smoothness. The fragrance settles into something almost architectural: still spicy, still faintly citric in memory, but now wrapped in clean wood and soft musk, like wearing a linen shirt that's been stored with cedar blocks.
