The aldehydes hit with a sharp, slightly soapy brilliance, immediately accompanied by peach's honeyed stone-fruit character and a zesty citrus spray that crackles across the skin. Coriander spice emerges almost immediately, lending a peppery warmth that prevents the opening from feeling cold or clinical.

As the aldehydes recede, a verdant woody heart emerges—patchouli and vetiver create an earthy, almost tobacco-like foundation whilst sandalwood adds creamy richness. Jasmine integrates seamlessly, becoming green and animalic rather than floral-sweet, whilst iris contributes a subtle powder-dry elegance that prevents any cloying tendency.

The base settles into a sophisticated chypré framework where oakmoss and benzoin create a warm, slightly resinous amber without excessive sweetness. Frankincense adds austere, incense-like dryness whilst musk and ambergris provide subtle animalic depth—the fragrance becomes contemplative, intimate, and considerably more linear than its sparkling opening suggested.
