Pana Dora
A unique visual signature based on accords, character, and seasonality
Grapefruit and bergamot collide with the force of citrus peel oils hitting hot skin, whilst tangerine sweetness and orange blossom's heady floralcy create an immediate tension between tart and tender. The lemon sharpens the edges like a knife scoring fruit zest, all bright nerves and optimism.
Melon's dewy sweetness meets mango's tropical flesh, creating an almost nectar-like quality that the geranium attempts to green up with its minty rose character. Lavender and sagebrush introduce an herbal, almost scrubby Mediterranean dryness, whilst lily of the valley adds its characteristic clean snap and iris brings a subtle powdered elegance that prevents the fruit from going too jammy.
The sandalwood emerges properly now, all creamy wood and skin-like warmth, whilst tonka bean sweetens with its almond-vanilla comfort and amber adds a golden, resinous glow. Vetiver grounds the composition with its earthy, slightly smoky roots, leaving a trail that's less fruit salad, more fruit compote drizzled over warm wood.
Forever Love announces itself with an audacious citrus salvo—not the polite whisper of cologne, but a full-throated aria of grapefruit's bitter pink flesh meeting bergamot's Earl Grey sharpness. The tangerine and lemon add a sherbet fizz whilst orange blossom lurks underneath, its indolic warmth already hinting at where this composition intends to go. This is Ibrahim Al-Zoubi's love letter to abundance, a fragrance that refuses to choose between fresh and sweet, instead layering them like a trifle gone wonderfully mad.
The heart is where things get genuinely interesting. Melon and mango bring a fleshy, almost tropical quality that shouldn't work with geranium's rosy mint or lavender's fougère heritage, yet somehow it does—like stumbling upon a Mediterranean garden after a fruit market. The ginger adds a crystallised snap whilst lily of the valley contributes its green soapiness, and that sagebrush note (unexpected, this) lends an almost herbal, scrubland quality that keeps the sweetness from cloying. Iris and neroli weave through like silver thread, adding a powdery refinement.
