The blast of Indian calamus hits like a spiced botanical strike—sharp, almost herbal-green, with Malabar pepper crackling atop like black seeds in hot oil. Papyrus and coriander emerge beneath, building a spiced-earth foundation that's arrestingly dry and utterly unsweetened.
