There's a peculiar synthetic quality here, that characteristic plasticky gloss that defines the accord, which sits uneasily atop what could have been a properly grounded tobacco composition. The geranium-coriander seed heart attempts gravitas, introducing a peppery spice that momentarily suggests maturity, but the underlying tonka bean sweetness renders it slightly saccharine rather than contemplative.
